Nikki Nikki Hale started at Hornsby Vet Hospital in 2001 after finishing her Veterinary Nurse Certificate. To anyone who has met Nikki it is very evident how much she loves all animals. This is no more obvious at home where her husband and 3 children help her look after an ever increasing menagerie: 5 cats, Twiggy, Sticky, Popsy, Mitzi and Minki, 3 dogs, BJ, Benji and Annie, and 3 chooks. At work she is constantly trying to find new homes for a never ending source of strays. Nikki loves her job, in particular helping all the pets and their owners.	Karin I have been the afternoon receptionist now for over 2 years and love meeting and greeting the pets and their owners (or visa versa). Prior to this I managed and owned a poultry /cattle farm for 20 years dealing with production and husbandry. In 2006 completed Cert II in Animal Care Studies at TAFE. I have 2 dogs, 6 chooks and 3 large tropical fish. I also have a passion for permaculture gardening and patchwork quilting.
